En el muy poco tiempo que tenemos en la Tierra, muchas personas están sintiendo una profunda sensación de tristeza y abatimiento, especialmente con la llegada del nuevo año 2024. Los complicados desafíos de la vida han creado un fuerte deseo de consuelo y significado en medio de este mundo caótico en el que vivimos. En este ambiente de malestar, el llamado a depositar nuestra confianza en Yeshúa, como nuestra fuente de esperanza y redención, es particularmente relevante.

Cuando recurrimos a las enseñanzas de las Escrituras, encontramos varios pasajes que hablan del poderoso impacto de la fe. Por ejemplo, en el libro de Mateo, Yeshúa dice: “Venid a mí todos los que estáis cansados y cargados, y yo os aliviaré”. (Mateo 11:28). Esta sentida invitación nos muestra el cansancio que acompaña a la experiencia humana.

Mientras avanzamos con cautela a través del profundo humo y las sombras de un nuevo año, la importancia de anclar nuestra fe en Yeshúa se muestra en un versículo de la epístola a los Hebreos: “Es, pues, la fe la certeza de lo que se espera, la convicción de lo que no se ve”. (Hebreos 11:1) En un mundo lleno de oscuridad, Yeshúa es un apoyo muy confiable y, como tal, eventualmente nos damos cuenta de que nuestra fe brinda confianza en las cosas invisibles y alimenta la esperanza de las promesas que aún están por desarrollarse en el plan del Padre Celestial.

El apóstol Pablo, en su epístola a los Romanos, anima a los creyentes a “estar gozosos en la esperanza; sufridos en la tribulación; constantes en la oración”. (Romanos 12:12) Este consejo constituye un enfoque integral para enfrentarse a las incertidumbres de la vida: un llamado a aferrarnos a la esperanza durante los desafíos, a ser pacientes y permanecer fieles en nuestra práctica regular de la oración.

En medio de los desafíos actuales, las enseñanzas de Yeshúa y de los Mensajeros Divinos actúan como un remedio para la desesperación, instándonos a arrojar nuestras preocupaciones sobre nuestro Maestro. Recordad las palabras del Rey David: “Mar-Yah es mi pastor; nada me faltará”. (Salmo 23:1). Hermanos, estamos invitados a confiar en el cuidado del Gran Pastor, encontrando consuelo en la seguridad de que nuestras necesidades serán satisfechas y nuestro espíritu renovado.

A medida que continuamos nuestro caminar de fe este año, el llamado a poner nuestra fe en Yeshúa debe ser como una lámpara en la oscuridad, brindándonos ánimo. Los que se sienten descorazonados pueden encontrar alivio, los cansados pueden encontrar descanso y los esperanzados pueden asegurar un ancla firme.

Me gustaría dejaros un par de versos más:

“Mar-Yah está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón, y salva a los contritos de espíritu”. (Salmo 34:18)

“Llevad mi yugo sobre vosotros y aprended de mí, que soy manso y humilde de corazón, y encontraréis descanso para vuestras almas”. (Mateo 11:29)

“Confía en Mar-Yah con todo tu corazón, y no confíes en tu propia sabiduría; reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y Él enderezará tus senderos”. (Proverbios 3:5-6)

In the very short time that we have on Earth, many people are feeling a deep sense of sadness and despondency, especially with the turn of the new year 2024. Life’s complicated challenges have created a strong desire for comfort and meaning in the middle of this chaotic world in which we reside. In this atmosphere of unease, the call to place our trust in Yeshua, as our source of hope and redemption, is particularly relevant.

When we turn to the teachings in the Scriptures, we find various passages that speak of the powerful impact of faith. For example, in the book of Matthew, Yeshua says, «Come unto me, all ye wearied and heavily burdened, and I will ease you.» (Matthew 11:28, Murdock). This heartfelt invitation shows us the weariness that accompanies the human experience.

As we proceed with caution through the deep smoke and shadows of a new year, the importance of anchoring our faith in Yeshua is shown by a verse in the epistle to the Hebrews: «Now faith is the persuasion of the things that are in hope, as if they were in act; and the manifestness of the things not seen.» (Hebrews 11:1) In a world filled with darkness, Yeshua is a very reliable support, and as such, we eventually realise that our faith provides confidence in things unseen and nurturing hope for the promises yet to unfold in the Heavenly Father’s plan.

The Apostle Paul, in his epistle to the Romans, encourages believers to «be joyful in your hope. Be patient under your afflictions. Be persevering in prayer.» (Romans 12:12) This admonition forms a comprehensive approach to facing life’s uncertainties—a call to hold onto hope during challenges, to be patient, and to remain faithful in our regular practice of prayer.

In the midst of present-day challenges, the teachings of Yeshua and the Divine Messengers act as a remedy for despair, urging us to cast our worries upon our Master. Remember the words of King David: «Mar-Yah will shepherd me; I shall lack nothing.» (Psalm 23:1). Brethren, we are invited to trust in the care of the Great Shepherd, finding comfort in the assurance that our needs will be met, and our spirits renewed.

As we continue our walk of faith this year, the call to place our faith in Yeshua should be like a lamp in the darkness, providing us with encouragement. Those feeling disheartened may discover relief, the weary may find rest, and the hopeful may secure a steadfast anchor.

I would like to leave you with a couple of more verses.

«Mar-Yah is close to the contrite in heart, and saves the weak in spirit.» (Psalm 34:18)

«Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.» (Matthew 11:29)

«Trust in Mar-Yah with all your heart, and do not put your trust in your own wisdom; acknowledge him in all your paths and he will make your paths straight.» (Proverbs 3:5-6)
